has produced over 40 murals & decorations in the El Paso, Texas region. He is an artist and philosopher with International fame.
Jesus Mendoza "Pano", Artist, Muralist, and Philosopher of the Arts
has been an artist for over 30 years. He has had exhibits in museums
and galleries in Mexico City, Los Angles,California, Manila,
Philippines, Hawaii, New York; and throughout Mexico and the United
States of America. As a muralist he has done about 7 projects in El
Paso, Texas. One of the most important murals is "The Kennedy Brother's
Memorial." It is the winner of two national awards as a project.
His first contact with the muralist arts was in
1969, when the world famous artist Maestro David Alfaro Siqueiros gave
him a diploma in a National Mexican contest. This was about the time
time the largest mural in the world done by Siqueiros entitled "The
Polyforum at Hotel Mexico" locate in Mexico City was completed.
Pano considers his art's roots in the influences of Leonard Da Vinci, Siqueiros, Tamayo, Dali, and Picasso.
Pano creates his own style and dimensions in
painting with principles and fundamentals in transparent art, intuitive
fusion, and chromatographic (chromagraphia).
